Day 83

Day 83 Darwin

After a very late night last night, I slept in until about 11 and had an early lunch. Maureen had spotted
Maureen's next car

Maureen at the wave pool
a PT Cruiser behind us and it is a convertible, apparently her next car. We sat around for a while reading as Maureen had some washing drying (our winnings from last night going to good use) and then we went into to town to the wave pool. As I can hardly get into a normal pool, so I watched Maureen splash around with the others. The pool seems to be run by Surf Life Saving NT so we will find out tomorrow how it runs

Fridge comp entries
when we have dinner with Tony and Julie. The area was hot and after Maureen had a swim we went for a coffee and had a look at the fridge competition. They have this comp where people dress up fridges, we then went to Mindil Markets. They are a must do so we did them. I could not face walking around markets so I stayed in the car and waited. Maureen went through the markets and went down to the beach to
Fridge comp hospital

Markets
watch the sun go down and then we went home. Tomorrow we are doing a city tour and I am going to take the Beast for a run. I had intended to empty Trude out this afternoon but that will have to wait until the morning, so big day tomorrow.
