Day 100 Alice Springs
Well we are in Alice Springs at
last. Seemed like an age since we were in Bali and Darwin. We

today and we spent it doing the boring stuff you have to do to keep on the
road. Maureen did the washing whilst I got the Beast out and hooked up to
charge ready for some touring, and we went into town to a drive around to get a
feel for the town and visit the tourist centre. There is a lot to see here and
we will try and do as much as we can. It is really cool how the McDonnell

then go for a

swim in one of the pools. They have two here, so we had a choice.
It was interesting to see our spinifex pigeons are back and we had a mob here.
Tomorrow we intend to do a
heritage walk in town, but the temperature is scheduled to be 41 again, so we
might do it in stages between coffee shops.
