Day 108

Day 108 – Marla
Well bit of a surprise to be here. We packed up this morning and headed off about 10:15 and after
Lunch break

At the Border
getting some gas and a few essentials, hit the road. The drive to Kings Canyon was about 300 kms so we had a while to chat about it and as we got to the turn off, we decided to go straight on and head on for Coober Pedy. So on we drove to the Stuart Highway and turned right. Now Coober Pedy is about 755kms
At Marla

Cross Roads
driving so we were not too sure how far we would get, but we would see. We had lunch and headed into Urldunda Roadhouse to refuel and headed South. We hit the NT/SA border and had a photo stop there as well and a bit of a leg stretch and motored on. We got to Marla 520kms later at 5:30 and decided we would call it quits for the night. Maureen has been out taking pictures here for the blog, there is one of a plaque for a Japanese tourist who saw an accident and when he turned around to help was

The park here is quite nice but we are just here for the night and then head off tomorrow.
